I’ve been a fan of James SHEONE Schoules for years and years. I suppose I was introduced to his work via his many collaborations with UK streetwear heavyweights Addict. Arrested Motion have some great photos of his recent work in Gambia. The British artist visited 14 villages and managed to get some paint on some walls at the same time.
The Sesame Street group exhibit presented by Neff Headwear and The Seventh Letter opens at Known Gallery this evening. SOLEdxb is the Middle East’s “first sneaker festival” and it’s going down tomorrow in Dubai. My buddy Raad is involved in the project, and Shark Toof will be there too, doing some live painting.
Belgian street artist ROA seems to have worked in some rather far-flung corners of the planet so far. Luckily, this wide distribution of work also includes the streets of LA. I recently noticed that ROA really went to town, down at the corner of Imperial St and Jesse St, in the Warehouse District of Downtown Los Angeles. [View Photos]
Right on the tail of their latest issue, Australian magazine Acclaim have just relaunched their website with a new look and content. Not a bad way to start the week.
The brand new LALA Gallery opens tomorrow, with LA Freewalls Inside. Haven’t managed to figure out exactly where this new space is located yet…sorry. EDIT: It’s at 1335 Willow Street, Second Floor.
