These look pretty amazing to me – a limited edition collaboration between Field Notes and artist Brendan Monroe. The little 3-packs come with gray graph paper inside and are limited to 2 sets per customer.
I absolutely loved the last Tame Impala LP Lonerism. Their latest full length, Currents, is still growing on me. It’s got less of the psyche rock guitar fuzz sound, and a slightly more polished electro synth rock vibe instead. I believe “Let It Happen” is the lead single, and the first video off this latest release from the Australian group.
This week’s T-Shirt Of The Week is this Wu-Banger from talented designer/illustrator Soulamode. If you grew up in the late ’80s and early ’90s like I did, Batman tees were ubiquitous. The Wu-Tang logo tee has been nearly as iconic in the last two decades. Soulamode deftly references both winning graphics for a real win-win here. Available exclusively at Hutch LA.
I watched Cowspiracy yesterday, a fascinating documentary which happens to be on Netflix currently. It’s all about how the modern agriculture industry is the main offender in global warming and environmental decline, because raising cows for dairy and meat is unsustainable and killing the planet. It looks at why no major environmental groups are willing to tackle the issue (or even acknowledge it). It’s not fun to watch, but crucial watching nonetheless.
