* Limonious W.I.L.

Grotesk has posted a great selection of reggae album covers by famous Jamaican illustrator Wilfred Limonious. As famous as his illustrations are, actual facts about the guy seem hazy at best, which is kind of the norm when it comes to reggae, I guess. He created some of the most recognizable cover art anywhere, delivering artwork for the world famous Stalag 17-18 & 19 compilation (one of the first dancehall records I picked up, thanks to a recommendation from Jason at Deadly Dragon Sound) as well as the likes of: Sly & Robbie, Papa San, Josey Wales, Super Cat, Barrington Levy, Yellowman, Sugar Minott, and Johnnie Osbourne.

One of the best posts yet! This is a Stellar collection of RC Illustrations. I only the dread the horrible incarnations we are going to see on t-shirts as a result of this exposure. blah.
