A big thank you to Mr. Silver and the good people at ConverseONE for sending me a pair of custom Weapon ’86s. I went for a Lakers-inspired palette, and there’s a subtle “typographical” embroidery on the ankle support. Cons are preparing to release an updated version of this classic model this Fall, a performance basketball shoe dubbed the Weapon Evo.
