Beatles in Comic Strips

Funnily enough, this title arrived quite shortly after my dad was telling me how much I liked the Beatles cartoons on TV, growing up. I didn’t even recall that there were any, let alone having watched a lot. Enter this new title from Skira Rizzoli, Beatles in Comic Strips, written by Enzo Gentile and Fabio Schiavo, who have assembled over 200 Beatles comic strips, many of which are rare and very had to find elsewhere. The breadth of the content is pretty impressive – with the strips arranged chronologically, and a astounding range of cartoon styles (from Jughead to X-Men), in a healthy cross-section of languages, no less. Both authors are well-established Italian music journalists, and apparently, giant fans of The Beatles. The hefty hardcover tome features over 200 pages of color images, and comes with a poster too.
