Tomorrow night, Nucleus gallery welcome French artist Fafi to Alhambra, for an exhibit of new work, and a book release party. There will be prints, totes, and her new book The Carmine Vault will be available too. Also, cupcakes.

I’ve been pretty heavily into Draw Something Free recently. It’s essentially charades with pictures. You and one other player take turns, guessing the word they’ve drawn for you, and then choosing one of three words to draw for them. And then you wait. It might sound ridiculously simple, but like a lot of simple phone apps, it’s remarkably enjoyable. Available for iPhone and Android phones.

So I made it out to the Benjie and Suedehead opening at Aristocrats in Little Tokyo on Friday evening. There was an abundance of great art (with exceptional titles), really good company, and some nice beats thanks to The Hundreds’ own Lil Mike. Good times. [View Photos]
