Down in the Dumps

It seems that in different cities there are certain things that get very heavily tagged, probably for a variety of reasons. In Tokyo, it might be mail boxes, pedestrian walkways and overpasses; in New York, the list includes LES apartment entrances, wooden boarding around construction sites, and phone boxes; and in LA, it includes freeway overpasses and dumpsters. It may just be that no one really cares to repaint dumpsters very frequently, so the tags run for longer than they would on other objects. I don’t know, but hey, if you want to risk doing time behind bars because you’re addicted to writing your name on things, I’m going to take photos of your work when I see it.
