From Here To There

From Here to There: A Curious Collection from the Hand Drawn Map Association is a beautifully designed book by Kris Harzinski, available from Princeton Architectural Press. Kris, a graphic designer, single-handedly founded the Association, and began collecting crude hand drawn maps – the kind you might give to a friend when you need to share directions. The maps describe a range of topics, from a child’s imaginary land, to someone’s intended bike path through a city, and a few of them are by rather famous people including Abraham Lincoln, who created a map of the town of Huron, Illinois.
