I’ve liked video games for as long as I can remember, probably starting with Frogger on the Commodore 64. These days I’ve been killing time with iPhone games. Chad from Foreign Family pointed out that as long as I’m going to ignore everyone by playing games, I might as well blog about it. True! iFighter Lite is my favorite iPhone app right now, and even though there’s only one level at the moment, it’s a lot of fun to play. It’s remarkably similar to 1942, Capcom’s classic vertical scrolling WWII fighter arcade game. Choose the “motion” setting and control the plane using the phone’s accelerometer, by tilting the phone in the direction you want to move. It’s free, so you know the price is right. Get it here.
